In order to celebratethe 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, motivatefaculty and staff in extra curricular cultural life and sports, and promote exchanges between various departments and colleges. HUHST LaborUnion organized the 17th Faculty Table Tennis Competitionin the Table Tennis Hall of the Faculty Home on October 15th, and more than 200 athletes participated in the 22 competition teams formed by 14 branches and 10 trade union groups in the university.  

  The team competition was held in an orderly manner according to men's singles, women's singles, mixed doubles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. The competition was between a large number of evenly matched athletes, who were in good posture, brisk and flexible to push, smash, serve and grab, step up to rub the ball, straight shot, horizontal racket, smash, spin ball, arc ball and other clever use, causing the audience to "good ball" sound continuously. After fierce competition, the Business School Team, Retirees Team, Information School Team, Physical Education College Team, Materials and Environmental Engineering College Team, Agriculture and Biotechnology College Team, Machine 5 and Machine 7 Wing, Machine 1, Machine 4 and Exit Wing won the top eight.  

  This competition not only built a stage for our faculty and staff to discuss their skills and show their style, but also provided them with an opportunity to relax, communicate with each other and enhance friendship, enrich the amateur cultural life of the majority of faculty and staff, enhance the communication and collective cohesion between teachers, and further demonstrate the table tennis level and enterprising spirit of our faculty and staff.
